Extraction Processes
1. Additionally dry the dried flowers obtained from agriculturists if the humidity level is higher than 10% (Humidity may increase during transportation).
2. Grind dried flowers until they become biomass having the size of 2-3 mesh.
3. Move to the extraction process in the Extraction Room where biomass will be put in two extraction tanks and add ethanol at -20°C. The propellers in the extraction tanks will spin to mix biomass and ethanol. The spinning process takes 30 minutes to ensure that ethanol completely extract key substances from the flowers.
4. Separate biomass from ethanol by using Centrifuge tank. Clear green ethanol without sludge, called CBD Rich Ethanol, will be obtained and passed through the semi-automatic tubes to the next room.
5. CBD Rich Ethanol will be sent to Ethanol Evaporation Room and stored in the reserve tank in wait of the next process.
6. Send CBD Rich Ethanol into the evaporation tank in which heat is used to evaporate ethanol.
7. Ethanol vapor will be recondensed in the distilling tower. More than 95% of ethanol will be extracted for reuse.
8. Purified ethanol which has been extracted will be send back to the freezing room in wait of reuse.
9. After ethanol has been separated from CBD Rich Ethanol, it will be called CBD Crude Mix which will be sent to Vacuum Ball to be heated for 8 hours. This stage is called Decarboxylation which is the change of chemical structure of CBDA acid into the CBD active substance.
10. The outcome of Decarboxylation is CBD Crude Oil which is highly dense, has dark color and is sticky like crude oil.
11. At Distillation Room, heated CBD Crude Oil will be sent to 3-tower distiller to extract Terpene, Chlorophyll and other components from Crude Oil. The advantage of 3-tower distiller is speed and continuity with low downtime and high productivity per time.
12. The outcome of distillation is CBD Distillate having clear amber-color which is rich of 80% CBD.
13. Sub-systems which will crystalize CBD Distillate to become CBD Isolate are installed in Crystallization Room. The process starts by sending CBD Distillate into Heat Stirring tank to heat and stir it gradually.
14. CBD Distillate is transferred from hot tank to cold tank for Flash Crystallization by mixing Pentane and stir with coolness at -30°C until it become crystallized.
15. Send it to Centrifuge tank to separate Pentane until only crystal remains
16. Separated Pentane will be distilled for reuse by Evaporation machine in the same machine
17. Purified white crystal obtained from Pentane separation is CBD Isolate having more than 98% CBD purity.
